Hi! I'm Deborah.

I'm a certified coach, educator, and consultant working to help people make an impact, pursue their passions, lead effectively, and live with intention & meaning.

I have been coaching since 2014,  first working with teachers and school leaders to make schools results-oriented, joyful, and affirming spaces of learning. In 2017 I expanded my work to serve a wider audience beyond schools, supporting people in bringing positive shifts to their personal and professional lives.

I am a firm believer in the power of articulating and grounding in our vision, in the strength that comes from community, in taking action despite fear, and in living on purpose. 

​

I hold a bachelor's degree in biology, a master's degree in education, and a certification in solutions-focused coaching. Along the way I also completed a stint in a doctoral program in ecology & evolution, where I discovered my love for teaching and developing people.

I've been fortunate to have grown up in Costa Rica, to have lived in several US cities, and to now work in the San Francisco Bay Area with my husband, daughter, and cat.
